Available Materials

Absorbable Sutures

• CliniGut Plain & Chromic: Natural absorbable sutures made from sterilised catgut. Plain gut maintains tensile strength for 7-10 days, while chromic gut provides longer wound support (10-14 days).
• CliniSorb: Synthetic braided PGA sutures with predictable absorption. Maintains approximately 85% tensile strength at 14 days, complete absorption in 56-70 days.
• CliniSorb Q: Rapid absorption PGA sutures. Ideal for superficial soft tissue approximation where only short-term wound support is required (7-10 days).
• CliniSolv: Synthetic monofilament PDO sutures. Provides extended wound support (up to 6 weeks) with predictable absorption over 180-210 days.
• CliniMono Q: Rapid absorption PGCL monofilament sutures. High initial tensile strength with complete absorption within 90 days.

Non-Absorbable Sutures

• CliniTro: Synthetic monofilament PVDF sutures. Excellent handling, virtually no memory, ideal for skin closure and vascular/orthopaedic procedures.
• CliniSilk: Natural braided silk sutures. Silicone coated for smooth passage and high knot security. Dyed black for visibility.
• CliniLon: Synthetic monofilament nylon sutures. Blue in colour, excellent for skin closure and general soft tissue approximation.
• CliniEster: Braided polyester sutures. Silicone coated, ideal for cardiac and orthopaedic surgery, tendon repairs, and valve replacements.
• CliniLene: Polypropylene monofilament sutures. Exceptionally smooth and pliable, perfect for cardiovascular surgery and hernia repairs.
• CliniLin: Non-absorbable flax fibre sutures. Stronger when wet, ideal for tonsillectomy procedures.
