The Contec CA10S-VET uses the sidestream method to measure animal parameters related to EtCO2 and AwRR. It can detect pulmonary ventilation function, reflect circulation and pulmonary blood flow, and indirectly reflect alveolar ventilation. When paired with a blood oxygen probe, it can also detect blood oxygen saturation and pulse rate in animals.
It is suitable for use in pre-hospital emergency, emergency departments, ICUs and operating rooms of pet hospitals at all levels.
