The Contec CONTEC21-7 Oxygen Concentrator consists of an air compressor, a molecular sieve adsorption tower, a sensor and a flow rate controller. Using the molecular sieve as the adsorbent, it applies the PSA (pressure swing adsorption) method to concentrate medical oxygen directly from the air.
The unit is small in volume, light in weight and easy to move, as it has turning castors. Contec describes it as stable in performance, easy to operate and low in noise, and states that it complies with the requirements for medical devices.
