The E18M is an electrocardiograph that collects 18-lead ECG signals simultaneously and prints the ECG waveform with a thermal printing system. It records and displays ECG waveforms in auto or manual mode, and measures, analyses and interprets ECG waveform parameters automatically. It prompts for "Lead off" and "Lack of paper", and the user can freely select the rhythm lead to observe abnormal heart rhythm. It includes case database management, a built-in lithium battery and AC/DC operation.

- Powered by AC or DC (adapts to 50/60 Hz AC frequency), with a built-in rechargeable lithium battery, charging circuit, and battery overcurrent and overvoltage protection circuit.
- In optimal DC state: up to 10 hours standby, more than 3 hours continuous printing, and storage of up to 1000 ECG waveforms (typically 3 s cases). Suited to home visits and body examinations.
- Built-in thermal printer supporting Auto M*N, Auto M*N+1, Auto M*N+2, Auto M*N+3, rhythm M line, manual and other printing modes and formats.
- Printed content includes time, paper speed, sensitivity, calibration signal, lead name, filter state and patient information. Printed waveform length, output measurement parameters, diagnostic conclusion, superimposed QRS waveform, histogram, trend chart and interval list can be set. Time print and auto arrhythmia print functions are available.
- Automatic measurement and interpretation of routine ECG parameters, giving results and an automatic diagnostic conclusion for HR, PR interval, P duration, QRS duration, T duration, QT/QTc interval, P/QRS/T axis, R(V5), S(V1), R(V5)+S(V1) amplitude, Cornell Index and others.
- Built-in large-capacity memory stores at least 4000 medical records.
- Historical records can be reviewed, queried, modified, transmitted, printed, lead-corrected and exported to other file formats (dat, pdf, xml, bmp, jpeg, png etc.).
- Multi-language (Chinese, English) interface and report. Full touch screen with buttons, built-in virtual keyboard, and Chinese and English input methods.
- Wi-Fi wireless communication, LAN and USB cable transmission. Cases can be uploaded automatically and reports downloaded and printed.
- Supports external USB standard keyboard, mouse, scanner and printer.
