All Infusion & Feeding PumpsA dual-channel automatic pressure infusor for accelerated infusion of blood products, rehydration fluids or irrigation fluid. It is intended for use in the clinical setting of medical institutions.
The Contec SRP1 Automatic Pressure Infusor is suitable for accelerated perfusion of fluids such as transfusion, rehydration or irrigation fluid in the clinical setting of medical institutions. It replaces manual squeezing, reducing the demand on staff time.
Blood products are viscous and resist vascular flow, so conventional transfusion speeds may not meet the needs of clinical resuscitation. Contec states that pressurised transfusion does not damage the structure of red blood cells and platelets, that pressure can be controlled throughout the transfusion and is applied evenly, and that the pressurisation system and the transfusion channel are two independent devices that are not connected to each other, so there is no contamination.
Key features
- Dual-channel control: the two channels work completely independently without interfering with each other.
- Precise pressurisation: pressure adjustment step of 5 mmHg (0.5 kPa), adjustable range of 10 to 300 mmHg (2 to 40 kPa).
- Smooth pressurisation: fluid is pressurised evenly and is not easily infused with air bubbles, reducing damage to red blood cells.
- Easy installation: small, portable body with a fixing device on the back for mounting on an infusion stand.
- Bilingual display: switchable between Chinese and English.
- Display: 2.8-inch LCD screen.
- Unit switch: kPa and mmHg can be switched freely.
- Power supply: external AC power or built-in high-capacity lithium battery.
Safety functions
- High-pressure alarm: above 310 ± 5 mmHg (41 ± 1 kPa) the device issues an audible and visual alarm. If either channel generates a high-pressure alarm, the other channel also stops working.
- Over-pressure protection: above 320 ± 5 mmHg the device deflates automatically and relieves pressure to protect the operator and patient.
