All Point-of-Care TestingA pocket haemoglobin meter that reads H12 test strips by optical reflectance and gives a result in 10 seconds or less from one drop of capillary or venous blood. It is useful for anaemia screening and pre-donation checks.
Fast haemoglobin results from a single drop of blood.
The URIT-12 measures haemoglobin (and gives a haematocrit value) from 15–20 µL of capillary or venous whole blood on a URIT H12 strip. It is factory-calibrated to ICSH, checks itself and reports faults on screen, and uses lot-coded strips. Its three-step operation makes it practical in clinics, wards and outreach settings.
