The URIT-50 reads URIT urine reagent strips by dual-wavelength reflectance, which takes the subjectivity out of reading colours by eye. You dip the strip by hand and place it on the reader; the result appears on the LCD and prints on the internal thermal printer. It is FDA 510(k) cleared (K082811).
