The four engraving fonts

Standard
A clean, professional look that reads clearly at a glance. It is the safe choice for a full name and surname, and it suits every chestpiece finish.
Cursive
Previously known as Great Vibes. A flowing script with a more elegant feel, and the one most people pick for a gift. On copper and rainbow finishes it looks especially good.
Modern Sans
Sleek and minimalist. It works well for initials or a short name, and pairs naturally with black and smoke finishes.
Handwriting
Previously known as Indie Flower. Informal and a little whimsical, for when you want the engraving to feel personal rather than formal.
Icons you can add
An icon sits beside your name or message. There are three to choose from:
- Heart, for love and care.
- Paw Print, for animal lovers.
- Bismillah Calligraphy, for a spiritual touch.
Putting a style together
- For the wards: Standard, name and surname. Easy for anyone to read if it goes missing.
- As a graduation gift: Cursive, with the title, e.g. "Dr T Nkosi", and a heart.
- Minimal: Modern Sans initials on a black-finish chestpiece.
- Just for fun: Handwriting with a first name and a paw print.

Which stethoscopes can be personalised?
We engrave Littmann, ADC and WiZmed stethoscopes, for R250 and usually on the same day. Where the text goes depends on the model; the engraving how-to has the details and more photos of our work.
